My name is Joe Fernandez, and I’m an elementary art teacher and full-time artist. My passion for art started early — I was the kid who always had a crayon, pen, or pencil in hand. That love for creating led me to earn a BFA in Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture. Since then, my professional journey has been a whirlwind of projects and commissions, from small sketches to large-scale murals that span entire buildings. What I love most is capturing a single moment — whether on paper, canvas, or a digital screen. With decades of professional experience, I look forward to the opportunity to create something meaningful for you.

Drawing
I create my drawings on acid-free, archival-quality paper, using only the finest pencils to ensure exceptional detail and longevity. Specializing in realism, I often receive requests for portraits of both people and animals. My aim is to capture the true essence of the moment in a photograph, evoking a deep emotional connection—whether it brings a tear to your eye or a smile to your face.
Painting
I specialize in acrylics and layered watercolors, with a focus on illustrative realism. I work with cold-pressed archival paper and pre-stretched canvas whenever possible. For custom or oversized pieces, I handcraft my own canvases to suit your needs. Additionally, I have extensive experience in creating wall murals, bringing large-scale art to life in unique spaces.
Graphic Design
Using the latest design software, including Adobe Photoshop and Procreate, I bring your ideas to life with creativity and precision. My design style is balanced, distinctive, and in tune with today’s trends. With over 30 years of experience in logo design, I seamlessly translate those skills into eye-catching apparel and branding.
Apparel
My current apparel line, Founded on Faith, began as part of a personal faith journey I started at the beginning of 2025. I created this collection to share positivity and answer a spiritual calling that deeply inspires me. This line is more than just a passion—it’s a purpose.
